Breaking Language Barriers: Translating Consentmo with Langify for Global Reach
In this article, we will show you how you can translate the Consentmo app by using Langify. Below you will find a detailed explanation of each step. Let's start:
Initial setting of the app
First, let's see what the admin side of the app looks like:
1. Navigate to the Apps section
2. Go to the Langify app

In order to start the translation process, first add the language you want to use.
1. Click on the Configure button
2. Then, choose the language you want to use
3. Lastly, Save the changes
Once you add the language, make sure to Activate it in order to be visible on the storefront.
Here is how the language section looks like
When adding a new language a notification message may appear. This is to notify that you should assign this language to your domain.
Here are the steps you need to follow in order to assign it:
1. Navigate to the Shopify Settings
2. Go to the Markets tab
3. Click on the Manage button under the Primary market
4. Next click on the Manage button located in the Domains and languages section
5. Lastly, check the box next to the language you wish to assign
The next step is to configure the language switcher. Here is how you can do that:
1. Click on the Configure button
2. Then, choose the Switcher Type, the Placement and the Appearance

When you are done with the initial setup of the Langify app, it is time to show you how you can translate the Cookie Bar and Preferences Popup of our app.
Translating the Consentmo app
Langify automatically detects customers' preferred language. After you install the app you can start translating instantly without having to prepare your theme for translation. Once you add the language you want to use you are good to go.
Note: Keep in mind that the automatic translations applies only for the paid plans of the Langify app.
