Introducing Our Enhanced Quick Setup UI: Summary Page, New Layout, and More
We understand that as an e-commerce store owner, your time is valuable, and you need to focus on growing your business. That's why we have made it a priority to make the setup process for our Consentmo app as quick and easy as possible. We want to help you ensure store compliance without taking up too much of your valuable time. So, we are always looking into improvements that can be made to the initial app configuration, and that's why we changed the Quick Setup to make it as seamless as possible.
What is the Quick Setup
Following the installation of the app, users will be directed to the Quick Setup process, which involves three simple steps to configure the Cookie bar and Preferences popup for your store. These are the basic settings that you need to arrange in order to have the app run smoothly from the start.
The Quick Setup Update
Before the new update, the Quick Setup was presented on a single page. We decided that it was much more user-friendly to create a separate page for each step, thus making the whole process look cleaner and more intuitive. This makes it easier for users to navigate the setup process and focus on one step at a time.
Additionally, we have added a summary page at the end that displays all the settings that the user has chosen during the setup process. This summary page allows users to review their settings and make any necessary changes before finalizing their setup. The new configuration process provides increased clarity and transparency, as well as the ability to easily go back and edit settings. Overall, these changes reduce the time and effort required for setup, while still ensuring compliance for your e-commerce store.
Step-by-step Guide
Step 0: First, you can choose the plan that fits your store best based on the page views you generate a month.
Step 1: The Quick Setup starts with picking the region(s) the Cookie bar needs to be enabled for.
Step 2: Next are the pre-prepared designs of the Cookie bar and Preference popup with 3 different style options - Default, Modern, and Classic.
Step 3: In the Preferences settings you are configuring what to block initially on the Cookie bar.

Step 4: At the end of the Quick Setup, you will land on the Summary page where you can make a final review of the previously selected option and edit any of them if needed.
